The number of rating points you gain or lose after winning or losing a game depends on the difference between your rating and your opponent’s rating. If you beat someone whose rating is higher than yours, you earn more rating points. However, if you lose to someone whose rating is lower than yours, you lose more points. This rule works the same way for a tie: the player who has the higher rating loses points, and the player with the lower rating gains them. You will get more rating points if you win in a No Hints game.
The number of rating points you receive also depends on your Library level.
